I've Made The Simplest Kebab Pizza Ever – Yes, It's Delicious

I've heard about it, but I've never tried it until today (well yesterday when I made it) – Kebab pizza.

I've seen some footage of this kind of pizza but never thought about making it. I have tried kebab pizza with chicken meat, but that's basically chicken pizza. There is something different about the beef meat in a kebab, I can't explain it. So I've been thinking about making one and it happened this weekend. It came out perfect. Just follow the simple recipe and you'll do just fine.

Ingredients:

– plain flour
– yeast
– olive oil
– salt
– Basillico sauce
– oregano
– Kebab meat (beef)
– Mozzarella cheese
– Gouda cheese

Preparation:

For the dough

1. Pour 50ml/1.5oz of warm water in a small bowl and add yeast. Make sure to cover the water with yeast then stir it and leave it aside.
2. Put 300g/10.5oz of plain flour and put it in a bowl. Add a table spoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt. Stir it while you add warm water. First you'll add 100ml/3.5oz, then add the yeast, and if necessary, add more water. It will be enough when the dough does not stick to the wall of the bowl.
3. Put the dough on a table and knead it for 10 minutes or less. Then put it in a bowl and leave it for a few hours somewhere warm.

For the toppings

1. Put 6 tablespoons of Basillico tomato sauce in a small bowl and add a pinch of oregano. Mix it together and leave it aside. I was a bit lazy to make my own, but the store-bought was awesome.
2. Grate some Mozzarella and Gouda cheese and also leave it aside until you make the pizza.

Method

Take the dough out of the bowl and form a pizza. Put the sauce on the pizza and add the cheese, but leave a handful so you can put it on the pizza later. Put the pizza in a preheated oven at 275C/525F and bake it for 10 minutes. Then take it out and put the kebab meat. I've used lamb meat that I've bought at my local Kebab shop. Put the leftover cheese over it and put it back in the oven. As soon as the cheese is melted, take it out and serve it.

It is so delicious, even my girlfriend, who does not like kebab meat liked it.

Scrambled Eggs and Tuna Salad – Yes, It's Delicious

If you're reading this, you know it's Monday and it's time for something new and delicious here on my blog.

I don't post during the weekend, mostly due to the fact that I'm cooking a lot or just doing something else. The weather in Sarajevo these days is amazing, so why not go out. But don't worry, I have a lot of recipes for you.

I'm starting this week of with scrambled eggs and tuna salad. To be honest, I did not hear about anyone making this together. I have made it before and I had to do it for the blog.

Spring is finally here, has been for weeks and the whole city is green and fresh, so why not make eggs and salad.

Ingredients:

– 3 eggs
– Gouda cheese
– lettuce
– spring onions
– paprika
– radish
– tuna
– olive oil
– Feta cheese
– spices: smoked salt, pepper, basil

First we're going to start with salad. Wash the vegetables and chop them up, which ever the way you want to, I am not your boss, so you can do that part which ever the way you want to. After that, put the vegetables in a bowl, add a table spoon of olive oil, spices and tuna from a can. I usually use Rio Mare brand, but I don't know where you are in the world so use the one that you think is the best. Stir them up and leave them for a few minutes while you make scrambled eggs.

Heat the pan and put a table spoon or a half of butter and let it melt. Crack 3 eggs and stir. Salt them and add a bit of Gouda cheese. Just slice them up in there and stir until it melts.

Serve both eggs and salad on a plate. Sprinkle some basil (spice) over the plate or add fresh basil. Also put a bit of Feta cheese on the salad. You can also toast some bread for this recipe.

Sastojci za kajganu i salatu od tunjevine:

– 3 jajeta
– Gauda sir
– salata
– mladi luk
– paprika
– rotkvica
– feta sir
– tuna
– maslinovo ulje
– začini: dimljena sol, biber, bosiljak (može i svjež)

Prije nego napravite kajganu, prvo ćete napraviti salatu. Operite povrće i isjeckajte na komadiće, kako god želite. Sve to stavite u zdjelu i dodajte maslinovo ulje, začine i tunjevinu. Ako me pratite duže vrijeme, znate da ja najviše volim Rio Mare, ali vi koristite koju god želite. Sve to dobro promješajte i ostavite sa strane dok se kajgana isprži.

Na vrućoj tavi istopite maslaca te “ubijte” 3 jajata. Promješajte te dodajte sol i gaude sira. Ne morate pretjerati, dovoljno je da jednu tanju krišku isječete na komadiće, ali možete dodati više ako želite. Umutite sve dok se sir ne istopi i to je to.

Servirajte na tanjiru s tuna salatom. Pospite bosiljka po tanjiru i dodajte malo Feta sira. Uz ovo jelo možete tostirati hljeb.

Sweet Toast With Pear And Nuss-Nougat

The middle of the week is reserved for sweets. Maybe I'll make it my “blog thing”.

Today on the menu is sweet toast with Nuss-Nougat and pear, topped with cinnamon. And yes, it's delicious!

Ingredients:

– toast bread
– pear
– Nuss-Nougat cream
– butter
– Cinnamon

This is one of the simplest recipes but damn it's delicious. You will need only 5 ingredients. My girlfriend found this Nuss-Nougat cream in dm drogerie in Sarajevo after we've tried it, I had to make something. I came up with this easy recipe. Basically it's like grilled cheese, but.. well different. If you don't have this kind of cream in your city, you can use Nutella.

Take two slices of bread and spread Nougat on it. Slice a pear in pieces and put them on the Nougat. Top it with the other slice on which you will spread a bit of butter.

Now melt a table spoon of butter in a pan and put the non-butter side on the pan. Fry them for a few minutes then flip it. Serve it on a plate and sprinkle some cinnamon over the bread.

It's so frickin’ delicious.

– maslac
– cimet

Recept je jednostavan i možete ga napraviti već danas. Na jednu krišku hljeba namažite kream te isjeckajte krušku na komadiće i stavite na krem. Zatim poklopite s drugom kriškom na koju ćete namazati putera.

U tavu istopite puter i stavite sendvič s kriškok koja nije namazana na tavu. Nakon 2-3 minute okrenite i pržite još toliko.

Servirajte na tanjir i pospite cimeta.
