Different kind of wrap – try it today!

If You Think This Is Just Another Chicken Sandwich, You're Wrong

If You Think This Is Just Another Chicken Sandwich, You're Wrong

There is a thin line between love and hate towards the chicken sandwich. I eat a lot of chicken but a lot of chicken sandwiches, mostly due to the fact that fast food restaurants in Sarajevo can't make a decent one.

No, I won't be challenging myself to make the best chicken sandwich, but I will try to make at least one per month, just to satisfy my needs. Here's one that is pretty good, made with salami or sausage, which ever way you call it. Hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients:

– chicken file
– onion
– smoked cheese
– Philadelphia soft cream cheese
– spring onions
– salami/sausage
– spices: chive, basil, salt, pepper
– bun
– potatoes
– curry

1. Wash and chop the chicken file in small pieces and then fry it in a pan with onion and olive oil. Salt it, pepper it and chive it.

2. Bake the french fries, the ones with curry – find the recipe here. While you're making fries, add a few slices of sausage and bake them with potatoes.

3. Chop the onion and grate the smoked cheese.

4. Slice the bun and spread the soft cheese on it. Put the smoked cheese on it and add the chicken. Put the buns on a pan and put it in the preheated oven. Leave it in for a minute and when you take it out, put the sausage on it and sprinkle it with basil.

Serve it with french fries and a sauce of your choosing.

Enjoy!

4. Izrežite pecivo i na hljeb namažite Philadelphia namaza. Pospite dimljenog sira i dodajte piletinu. Stavite sendviče na tepsiju i ubacite u rernu na minut, kako bi se sir malo istopio. Na to sve stavite sudžuku i pospite bosiljak.

Servirajte s pomfritom i sosom po želji.
