American Pancakes – Salty Breakfast Edition

It's the weekend, and I'm hungry. Thinking of what to eat, and I get this idea of making american pancakes but salty.

I've had something to do in the morning, so I was getting really hungry. Finally at noon, I've made these pancakes, and my God of food, they were awesome.

Ingredients:

– 200g/7oz of flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– salt
– sugar
– milk
– an egg
– olive oil
– smoked cheese
– chicken ham (or ham of your choosing)
– butter or some kind of cheese spread

Preparation:

1. Put the flour in a bowl and add a teaspoon of baking powder, half of teaspoon of sugar and two tablespoons of salt. Mix it all up.

2. In a small bowl pour 150ml/5oz of milk and crack an egg with one tablespoon of olive oil. Stir it and add to the dry ingredients. Stir it until the lumps disappear.

3.Heat a pan and oil it with a bit of vegetable oil. Then pour the mixture, put a bit of ham in it and fry it for two minutes or until the lower side becomes brown. Flip it and fry it until the side become brown.

4. Serve it with smoked cheese, butter or some kind of cheese spread.

Sastojci:

– 200g brašna
– prašak za pecivo
– sol
– šećer
– mlijeko
– jaje
– maslinovo ulje
– dimljeni sir
– šunka po želji
– maslac ili sirni namaz po želji

Priprema:

1. U veću posudu stavite 200g brašna, jednu čajnu kašiku praška za pecivo, pola čajne kašike šećera i dvije supene kašike soli. Malo promješajte.

2. U manju posudu ili čašu naspite 150ml mlijeka te dodajte jedno jaje i jednu supenu kašiku maslinovog ulja. Malo promješajte. Tu smjesu dodajte suhim sastojcima i mješajte dok grudvice nestanu.

3. Zagrijte tavu i namstite je uljem. S kutljačom smjesu prospite u tavu i formirajte palačinak. Zatim stavite šunku i pecite dvije minute ili dok donja strana ne dobije smeđkastu boju. Zatim okrenite na drugu stranu i također pržite dvije minute ili dok donja strana ne dobije smeđkastu boju.

4. Servirajte s dimljenim sirom, maslacom ili nekim sirnim namazom.
