The ‘I've Put Everything I've Got In It’ Salad

For the past few weeks I've made a lot of salads. Not on purpose, I do have to admit that. It came as a suggestion that “we need to eat healthier”.

In a series where I make salads, here's one with turkey meat and all the vegetables that I could find in the fridge. I did not have any Feta cheese, but you can add it if you like it.

I'm preparing for a week in which you'll only get sweet recipes, and that will happen next week, so eats some salad before it starts. I will present you five recipes that you can make in a few minutes but it will so delicious. Until then, enjoy this simple salad recipe.

Ingredients:

– lettuce
– tomatoe
– rucola
– corn
– paprika
– spring onions
– turkey meat
– raddish
– sesame seeds
– croutons
– spices: smoked salt, pepper, basil

1. Fry the turkey meat with olive oil. Don't forget to salt it and put some pepper in it too.

2. While that's cooking, chop the vegetables and put it in a bowl.

3. When the meat is done, combine it with the vegetables and add the spices. Stir it and add the croutons and sesame seeds.

Serve it with a nice healthy drink and enjoy!

– sezamove sjemenke
– krutoni
– začini: dimljena sol, biber, bosiljak

1. Ispržite meso na maslinovom ulju. Nemojte ih zaboraviti posoliti i pobiberiti.

2. Dok se meso prži isjeckajte povrće koje se može isjeckati i ostavite ih u zdjelu.

3. Kada je meso gotovo, dodajte ih povrću i dodajte začine. Sve dobro promješajte i dodajte krutone i sezamove sjemenke.

Servirajte s nekim zdravim pićem i uživajte!

Homemade Chicken Vegetable Soup Of The Day – Yes, It's Delicious

Soup of the day is chicken vegetable soup. I don't post a lot of soup recipes, but I will try to do so in the future.

The other day I've made this homemade chicken soup with frozen vegetables. It was delicious, as everything I make. Just kidding, I mess up sometimes.

If you're in the mood for a soup, or if you're getting a cold, this is a soup for you.

Ingredients:

– chicken (wing or a drumstick)
– water
– vegetables
– spices: salt, pepper, basil

1. Pour water into a pot, put it on a stove, add chicken and let the water boil.

2. When it boils add the vegetables and spices. Here in Bosnia we have frozen vegetables for soup so that's what I've used, but you can put what ever you want in it, broccoli, cauliflower, peas, etc.

3. Boil it for another 10 minutes, then lower the heat on medium and let it simmer for 7-8 minutes.

4. Pour the soup in a plate and serve it with some croutons.

– piletina (krilo ili batak)
– voda
– povrće
– začini: sol, biber, bosiljak

1. Naspite vode u šerpu, stavite na kolo, dodajte piletinu i pustite da voda provri.

2. Kada voda proključa, dodajte povrće i začine. Možete koristiti svježe povrće ili zamrznuto povrće za supu koje možete naći u svim marketima.

3. Neka voda vri još desetak minuta, zatim ćete smanjiti temperaturu na srednje te ostaviti tako još nekih 7-8 minuta.

4. Supu naspite u tanjir te servirajte s krutonima.

Scrambled Eggs and Tuna Salad – Yes, It's Delicious

If you're reading this, you know it's Monday and it's time for something new and delicious here on my blog.

I don't post during the weekend, mostly due to the fact that I'm cooking a lot or just doing something else. The weather in Sarajevo these days is amazing, so why not go out. But don't worry, I have a lot of recipes for you.

I'm starting this week of with scrambled eggs and tuna salad. To be honest, I did not hear about anyone making this together. I have made it before and I had to do it for the blog.

Spring is finally here, has been for weeks and the whole city is green and fresh, so why not make eggs and salad.

Ingredients:

– 3 eggs
– Gouda cheese
– lettuce
– spring onions
– paprika
– radish
– tuna
– olive oil
– Feta cheese
– spices: smoked salt, pepper, basil

First we're going to start with salad. Wash the vegetables and chop them up, which ever the way you want to, I am not your boss, so you can do that part which ever the way you want to. After that, put the vegetables in a bowl, add a table spoon of olive oil, spices and tuna from a can. I usually use Rio Mare brand, but I don't know where you are in the world so use the one that you think is the best. Stir them up and leave them for a few minutes while you make scrambled eggs.

Heat the pan and put a table spoon or a half of butter and let it melt. Crack 3 eggs and stir. Salt them and add a bit of Gouda cheese. Just slice them up in there and stir until it melts.

Serve both eggs and salad on a plate. Sprinkle some basil (spice) over the plate or add fresh basil. Also put a bit of Feta cheese on the salad. You can also toast some bread for this recipe.

Sastojci za kajganu i salatu od tunjevine:

– 3 jajeta
– Gauda sir
– salata
– mladi luk
– paprika
– rotkvica
– feta sir
– tuna
– maslinovo ulje
– začini: dimljena sol, biber, bosiljak (može i svjež)

Prije nego napravite kajganu, prvo ćete napraviti salatu. Operite povrće i isjeckajte na komadiće, kako god želite. Sve to stavite u zdjelu i dodajte maslinovo ulje, začine i tunjevinu. Ako me pratite duže vrijeme, znate da ja najviše volim Rio Mare, ali vi koristite koju god želite. Sve to dobro promješajte i ostavite sa strane dok se kajgana isprži.

Na vrućoj tavi istopite maslaca te “ubijte” 3 jajata. Promješajte te dodajte sol i gaude sira. Ne morate pretjerati, dovoljno je da jednu tanju krišku isječete na komadiće, ali možete dodati više ako želite. Umutite sve dok se sir ne istopi i to je to.

Servirajte na tanjiru s tuna salatom. Pospite bosiljka po tanjiru i dodajte malo Feta sira. Uz ovo jelo možete tostirati hljeb.
