I've Made The Simplest Kebab Pizza Ever – Yes, It's Delicious

I've heard about it, but I've never tried it until today (well yesterday when I made it) – Kebab pizza.

I've seen some footage of this kind of pizza but never thought about making it. I have tried kebab pizza with chicken meat, but that's basically chicken pizza. There is something different about the beef meat in a kebab, I can't explain it. So I've been thinking about making one and it happened this weekend. It came out perfect. Just follow the simple recipe and you'll do just fine.

Ingredients:

– plain flour
– yeast
– olive oil
– salt
– Basillico sauce
– oregano
– Kebab meat (beef)
– Mozzarella cheese
– Gouda cheese

Preparation:

For the dough

1. Pour 50ml/1.5oz of warm water in a small bowl and add yeast. Make sure to cover the water with yeast then stir it and leave it aside.
2. Put 300g/10.5oz of plain flour and put it in a bowl. Add a table spoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt. Stir it while you add warm water. First you'll add 100ml/3.5oz, then add the yeast, and if necessary, add more water. It will be enough when the dough does not stick to the wall of the bowl.
3. Put the dough on a table and knead it for 10 minutes or less. Then put it in a bowl and leave it for a few hours somewhere warm.

For the toppings

1. Put 6 tablespoons of Basillico tomato sauce in a small bowl and add a pinch of oregano. Mix it together and leave it aside. I was a bit lazy to make my own, but the store-bought was awesome.
2. Grate some Mozzarella and Gouda cheese and also leave it aside until you make the pizza.

Method

Take the dough out of the bowl and form a pizza. Put the sauce on the pizza and add the cheese, but leave a handful so you can put it on the pizza later. Put the pizza in a preheated oven at 275C/525F and bake it for 10 minutes. Then take it out and put the kebab meat. I've used lamb meat that I've bought at my local Kebab shop. Put the leftover cheese over it and put it back in the oven. As soon as the cheese is melted, take it out and serve it.

It is so delicious, even my girlfriend, who does not like kebab meat liked it.
